The importance of keeping our bodies healthy and striving towards greater physical fitness has been growing for a number of years, this will be of no surprise to most. The newer growing trend however is our recognition of the importance of mental health and wellbeing. This of course has become more obvious during the COVID-19 Pandemic. People are now turning towards forms of activity and fitness that provide fitness for both the mind and the body.


In the 21st Centenary, convenience is a pretty high commodity. Finding a form of exercise that trains both the physical body and enhances our mental wellbeing, provides pretty good bang for your buck when it comes to convenience and squeezing things into busy lifestyles.


Pilates is a form of exercise that improves your physical fitness by building strong muscles and improving muscle tone and flexibility. Alongside this Pilates also has a positive influence on the mind. Pilates combines breathing, body awareness and efficiency of our movements and breathing mechanics. This results in a calmer mind, greater presence and generates a state of relaxation in the mind and body.
