  • Do you have a cancellation policy?
    Cancellations and rescheduling made within 24 hours are charged at full class rate.
  • Where are the group classes located?
    Classes run at Vertex Altitude Training Gym at 41 Moorhouse Avenue, Christchurch. Fiona will also run private pilates sessions at other locations, including at offices. Call Fiona to chat further.
  • Is pilates safe when pregnant?
    Yes Pilates is safe during pregnancy. We encourage our clients to attend a private session for an individual assessment prior to commencing group classes during pregnancy. This ensures that delivery and completion of exercises will be done in a safe and effective way.
  • Can I come to Pilates if I'm injured?
    Yes. Pilates is often a key strategy for overcoming injuries! Fiona should be made aware of any current injuries. This allows modification of exercises to ensure you are exercising safely. You may want to consider a private session to cover your specific injury needs alongside your group class.
  • How many days a week should I do Pilates?
    We recommend two days per week but three if you want to see faster results.
  • How do I pay for classes?
    Payment is online via EFT. You can either book online by filling in the online booking form or by contacting Fiona directly. Fiona will then send through payment details.
  • Do I need to have paid before i attend?
    Yes payment needs to be made the night before you attend.
  • What is the class level?
    Current classes are suitable for all levels. Fiona will show options for first timers through to advanced. If you're interested in specific classes i.e: Pilates for runners please get in touch.
  • How many people will be in a group class?
    Class size is limited to 10 people, this ensures Fiona can provide individual adjustment and technique correction when needed.
  • Do you offer corporate classes?
    Fiona can cater to all corporate groups and levels of fitness. Get in touch to discuss our corporate rates.
  • Do the 8-10 week class blocks expire?
    Yes - they expire 6 months from the purchase date.
  • Do the class blocks need to be used in consecutive weeks?
    To get the best results, they should be. However, if you're unable to attend one week you can jump back aboard the following week.
